We invest in our people and give them the support they need to develop with confidence.
Our training programme is designed to build practical skills, technical knowledge and personal development, helping every member of the team reach their full potential.
Training is delivered in-house by our founder and Managing Director, Peter McCallum, drawing on his extensive experience within the electrical industry. When trainees are ready to progress into field-based work, they work alongside experienced TECC colleagues, gaining valuable hands-on experience and support before working independently.
This approach ensures our team develops not only the technical skills required for the job, but also the confidence, professionalism and customer service standards we expect at TECC.

We believe in helping the next generation take their first steps into the world of work.
Through partnerships with local schools and colleges, we provide work experience placements that offer a genuine insight into the electrical industry and the wider roles that help our business operate. Students are given meaningful tasks, practical experience and the opportunity to develop their confidence in a supportive, professional environment.
We’ve welcomed students studying a range of subjects, including Level 2 Electrical, T-Level Digital and Accounting courses, as well as secondary school students exploring their future career options.
We’re committed to continuing and expanding our work experience programme, creating more opportunities for young people while supporting future talent within our local community.
